Our Wedding

Jacob and Sophia first met in October of 2021, and from the very beginning there was an undeniable connection. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a meaningful friendship built on laughter, late-night conversations, and countless hours spent talking, playing games, and getting to know one another on a deeper level. Over time, their friendship became something incredibly special. They discovered how naturally they could rely on one another through every season of life, becoming not only close friends but trusted confidants and constant sources of encouragement. In the summer of 2023, on the night before Sophia moved to Texas, Jacob shared what had quietly been growing in his heart—he told her that he was in love with her. Though life would take them through a few more months of growth and reflection, that moment marked the beginning of something deeper that neither of them could ignore. On December 27, 2023, their story officially turned into a love story. What began as a strong friendship quickly blossomed into a relationship filled with joy, unwavering support, and a love that felt both effortless and certain. From that moment on, they knew they had found their best friend, partner, and greatest blessing in each other. Together, Jacob and Sophia strive to build a life rooted in faith. Their relationship is centered on growing in Christ and encouraging one another daily. Jacob continually exemplifies Christ-like love, leading with kindness, patience, and a heart devoted to becoming the man God calls him to be. In July of 2025, they welcomed their greatest blessing, their son, Levi. Becoming parents together has been one of the most meaningful and transformative seasons of their lives, deepening their love, strengthening their faith, and reminding them daily of God’s grace and purpose for their family. Jacob proposed on December 20, 2025, beginning the next chapter of their journey together. They are overjoyed to celebrate their marriage with the people they love most and look forward to spending the rest of their lives growing together in love, faith, and as a family.

Samantha is Sophia’s older sister and Maid of Honor. From childhood memories to life’s biggest milestones, she has always been one of Sophia’s greatest supporters and closest friends. Sophia couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side.

Madi is Sophia’s brother’s girlfriend and a bridesmaid. She’s outgoing, fun, and always the life of the party. Her vibrant personality and kind heart make her such a joy to be around, and Sophia is so happy to have her as part of the wedding.

Madi Quigley

Megan is Sophia’s cousin from Michigan and one of her bridesmaids. The two have been inseparable since childhood, spending many summers together in Michigan and creating memories that will last forever. Megan holds a very special place in Sophia’s heart, and having her stand beside her on this important day means more than words can express.

Megan Murphy

McKayla is one of Sophia’s bridesmaids and a dear friend she met through church in 2021. Over the past year, their friendship has grown even stronger as they’ve navigated pregnancy and motherhood together as first-time moms. Sharing this special season of life has created a deep bond between them, and Sophia feels incredibly grateful to share this day with her

Mckayla Dixon

Jeremy is Jacob’s brother and Best Man. Throughout their lives, they have always had each other’s backs and have shared every season of life together. Their bond as brothers has been a constant source of support and friendship, and Jacob is honored to have Jeremy standing by his side on such an important day.

Jeremy Stevens

Jason is one of Jacob’s groomsmen and has been one of his closest friends since childhood. Having grown up together, they share countless memories and experiences that have shaped their lifelong friendship. Even though they now live states apart, Jason remains like a brother to Jacob, and it means a lot to have him standing by his side on this special day.

Jason Sigfried

Parker is one of Jacob’s groomsmen and a close friend he met through Jason. They have been friends for over nine years and share many memories and hobbies, including snowboarding and nights out together. Parker remains one of Jacob’s closest friends.

Parker Berry

Mikey is one of Jacob’s groomsmen and a childhood friend he met through ATV racing. Their friendship quickly grew into a brotherhood that has remained strong over the years. No matter how long they go without seeing each other, their bond never changes.

To create a timeless and elegant atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to follow a Formal dress code with an all-black color palette.

For Women: Please wear a formal, long or floor-length black dress or gown. Think classic formal evening wear — elegant, sophisticated, and timeless.

For Men: A black suit is requested. A tuxedo is absolutely welcome but not required. Please pair your suit with a dress shirt and dress shoes. Ties or bowties are optional, but encouraged for a more formal look.

Our goal is to create a beautifully cohesive and elevated look for the evening, and we appreciate you helping us bring this vision to life. Please see gallery below for inspiration.

We feel incredibly grateful to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives, and we truly appreciate each and every person who will be celebrating this special day with us. YOUR presence is truly the greatest gift! For those who feel inclined to give, we have created a registry for your convenience. As we begin this next chapter, we are also looking forward to our honeymoon in Hawaii in the summer of 2027, where we hope to relax, explore the beauty of the islands, and celebrate our first adventure as husband and wife.
